| Yeah, it's amazing what a big difference those little changes can make. I don't know about you but I hate coming home and opening the door to a completely dark house. So I finally got smart and installed nightlights that come on automatically when it gets dark throughout the house including in the entryway. Now when I come home at night the house isn't completely dark and I can see well enough to put things down and hang up my coat. I have 5-7 of them plugged in around the house and figure even with that many plugged I'm using a heck of alot less energy than I would be if I left a lamp on. An added bonus is that they provide just enough light that I don't need to turn on the lights just to get a glass of water out of the kitchen. |

| You should take that $111.24 you're saving on your electric bill and put it in a savings account. At the end of 1 year you would have $1334.88 which is a good chunk of the cost of a Disney package. |

| Amazing! I keep trying to get DH to do that kind of stuff...I am constantly turning off the lights after him and changing to the energy efficient ones...he doesn't like them...thinks they are dim... I also have the night lights with the sensor so they come on when it gets dark...they are only 7 watt bulbs so when they are on its next to nothing...give just enough light to get around at night without falling and hurting yourself. I put all of our outside lights on solar and motion sensors...it helps!

| That's terrific! I was shocked when I saw our savings after making the same (and other) changes and saw that our annual electric/gas bill went down by $400 from '06-'07 -- and these were really minimal changes we made. Since we've done even more "eco" changes in '08, I'm anxious to see what we've managed to do for our pocketbooks and the environment! Eileen
