| I have the best MIL. I know not many people can honestly say that, but I do. She's always there for me when I need her, whether it's to watch the kids, or lend an ear, commiserate about our DH's or just as a shoulder to lean on. I hope she realizes how much I appreciate having her. I consider her one of my best friends. I can't wait to go to the Very Merry Christmas Party with her. We're going to have such a good time. I just wanted to share that with you all. |

| She sounds wonderful. Mine was just like that - and I miss her terribly. I'm saddened she didn't live long enough to see DH and My kids (we each had other kids from other relationships, and MiL didn't make an issue over my DD not being DH's) So glad you have that - and that you appreciate it.

| My MIL was great, too. Too bad she didn't live long enough to see our kids, though. (I was pg with the oldest when she died unexpectedly). FIL, however, is another story... ![]()

| From what you have said she so reminds me of my own MIL. She is truly one of my best friends. She has always treated me as if I were one of her children. Even when DH and I were dating. She has the biggest heart and would do anything for you. I hope in the next few years my in laws will get to experience the magic of Disney with us. Most people would dread the idea of a vacation with the in laws, but we take trips together all of the time.
