| Decision Pixies please!!!!!! Back in late August, I applied to teach a workshop at the National Kindergarten Conference in Las Vegas this summer- at the suggestion of my assistant principal. She thought I had some really good classroom management ideas that needed to be shared- and she's been to this conference before. I was pretty hesitant to do it, considering I haven't been teaching that long but on the other hand, have some public speaking experience. What did I have to lose? was my thought and Kevan also encouraged me to try and see what happened. Low and behold, I got an email today from one of the coordinators telling me that my proposal was a very good one. We had a quick phone interview and then I should be notified on or before November 7. I won't be devastated if I don't get it ( our Disney Cruise is for the same dates so I wouldn't have to change dates) but then again, it could open up lots of opportunities if I do get it. Pixies please for a yes answer and even more to help me deal with the agony of waiting to hear!! I would LOVE to plan a trip to Vegas!!

| I know how you feel. A co-worker and I submitted a proposal (last January) to present at the NAEYC conference this coming November. Our proposal was accepted and we are presenting on literacy! So, we are on our way to Dallas in 3 weeks!
