| Our oldest is almost 24..diagnosed with ADHD as a junior in HS and if not for her adderol ..well she could not function. I love her to pieces but the world owes her..she graduated from a private Boston University TWO yrs ago on our dime..no loans..and she has YET to get a job...she wont work service or retail..lol..ummm...hello..until things turn around a buck is a buck..thankfully she lives with her BF in Boston..they met at school and HE has a decent job..so he foots the bills..well we pay some stuff...like insurance and phone...but she brings up the past alot...once we addressed how we made HER feel..<her sister who is a yr younger said she was here..we did NOTHING wrong..but we listened>..we told her we are all adults..moving on...if she TRIES to bring things up..thank goodness her BF is so good with her..he brings her back to life..but honestly..I love when she stays for a day or two..but I could not imagine fulltime at this point in our lives..I know you have lots going on..other daughters..work and home schooling..tell her you are done with it..no more beating that dead horse..and dont let her do it..its her defense mechanism and its not okay..good luck and be firm...and know you are NOT alone..

| I have a 26 yo Step D and she dosent have any issues except that because she was born, shes entitled to whatever her father has, any cash, any tools. And to put the cherry on the sundae.... her newst love ( and I use that term loosely) is the same way. " Noboby likes me, they are talking about me, I might as well fall off the face of the earth no one would care ( Im thinking, go ahead and fall off and lets see what the outcome would be) Thank the Lord they dont live with me or I would be at the jumping off place |
