Even if he's having BMs they may not be 'normal' - containing enough water.

| I have a searing tearing pain in my lower right abdomen. I've had it ever since I was 17 or 18. The Dr I went to at the time told me it was a "hot appendix", whatever that is supposed to mean. I have never had a full out appendix attack, but I notice that when I drink too much Coke (oddly enough it's only Coke, not Pepsi that seems to do it) I get that pain. I also get it when I make certain movements (mostly stretching) so I've learned to try to avoid those. You might want to keep a journal of what he's eating to see if you can associate it with food or drink. Sending to your DS.

| I don't know what to tell you. Wish I had an idea - but if I did, I could know what's been wrong with Kathryn since she was 9 (that's 7 years!). She's had Phantom Pains in her abdomen since then. The first attack was while we on holiday in London - and we found the wonderful world of Doctors who do "Hotel Calls". Our Pediatrician says that sometimes it goes away after just a few times, and sometimes it doesn't. She's missed school because of it over the last few years, but it seems to be getting less frequent and less painful as she ages. Pixies that your DS gets better quickly and has no more attacks. |

| Thanks Danielle. You have given me an idea. For the last few weeks I have had a pain that feels like a cramp in my foot. I am gonna see a doctor in about a week. But in the meantime I am gonna drink a bunch of water and see if that helps the problem go away.

| Making DS drink stuff with lots of electrolytes - want to make sure he isn't dehydrated.
