| Unexplained Reaction I've had an allergic reaction, 2 days in a row. I've changed nothing in my life - soap, shampoo, laundry products, food, nothing. Each reaction happened in a different place - one at school, the other at the hospital. The ONLY thing that seems to connect them is that the one at school was in Theology class, and the one at the hospital happened about 15 minutes after we were talking about theology class. I'm not worried about anything. The reaction starts with my face getting hot, then it radiates down my body. Other people say my face and body turn so red, they could see it through my white shirt today! After about 20 to 30 minutes, it starts to fade and is totally gone in about an hour. I know I need to see the doctor, but was wondering if anyone has ever had anything like this happen? |

| I had a weird allergic reaction last year that resulted in a rash all over my neck. I also hadn't changed anything about my routine so it was very strange. The doctor just told me to take some benedryl and I would be fine. It hasn't happened since. I do know that if I am feeling anxious (sometimes without even realizing it) I feel and look flushed all over. It will generally go away within a half hour or less. I would say to just keep an eye on things and if you get any other symptoms, go in to the doctor right away. Good luck!!

| Do you have any itching? If not, could it be a hot flash? I know you have an older daughter so you might be around that age. Diane |

| I don't know for sure how old you are, but I was thinking that, too.

| try talking about theology class again..... if you get the symptoms, means you're very stressed over the class. it'll go away when the class completes

| I have had several reactions that sound very similar...basically it was a massive vasodialation...in addition to the redness and heat, I also had chest pain. This reaction was caused as a side effect to my old MS med, Copaxone. The reactions did get progressively worse to include itching and hives. Needless to say, I am no longer on that med. Hope you find an answer.... danielle
