I am really grateful to all of you for your kind thoughts--I got a call-back! I don't know when exactly I'll be headed down for the face-to-face interview, but they called to confirm that I'm still interested and that the salary range is acceptable! Some time in the next 2-3 weeks, I expect to be on a plane to Orlando, and I am THRILLED. The job is really interesting, the people seem great, the location is fantastic, and if the money they're talking about comes through, it's worth the move. YAY! I'll update when I get my interview scheduled, but this is looking really, really good.
I finally got the interview confirmed! I'm flying down this Sunday morning (3/4) to scope out the area, and the interview is scheduled for 10 am Mon. 3/5. Wahoo! Many, many thanks for all the pixie dust. This is just so exciting!
Anyone on here a realtor in the area who would like to (1) tell me how to find the open houses Sun. afternoon or (2) take me to a few houses Mon. afternoon?

We're still in negotiations, but UCF has made their first offer, and it meets our minimum requirements! We don't have a start date for me yet, but now we have to find DH a job, find a school, find a house, find a daycare . . . again! I did find a good realtor, so I feel good about that.
We're thrilled to be moving--so far, we really like Moss Park Elementary. Anyone on here familiar with the area? Know a good daycare that won't break the bank? Know anyone hiring a guy with 15 years of shipping experience (printed materials, OTR and air freight, local and national OTR lines) and over 20 years of customer service experience? He has his own hobby business making and selling hand-made leather goods (specifically, sporrans--kilt bags) at Celtic festivals. He's had to learn marketing, festival set-up, and management of volunteer staff, so he's learned some good skills from it!
