I've been stressing out about my flight in March with changing planes and the extended travel time. Plus having to get my son to drive me to the airport after only three hours of sleep - leaving my house at 3am. So I have been watching the airfare everyday on SW and JB hoping for a flight to MCO that I could afford that would be a nonstop. WOO HOO! It finally paid off! Found a flight for a higher than I usually pay, but within my budget and I only have to land once! (Landing always causes severe pain in my ears!) Plus I don't have to leave my house until 4:30am! And I arrive an hour and a half earlier! I totally caved and spent more money than I normally would on airfare, but the anxiety the other flight was causing me just wasn't worth it!
Do "earplanes" help you out at all? They worked for my son the last time, which was great. Ear pain is the worst. Definitely worth the extra $ for only having to land once.
The earplanes help a little bit. Better with them than without! I have to use the child size because I have very small ear canals. I love flying, but the landings can be painful even with the use of the earplanes. I'm so happy I found a new flight!
