Thank you all so much. Last night I was sitting here, just feeling so overwhelmed. Today I am trying to focus on one step at a time - first hurdle, meet with engineer tomorrow to have her rework some of the layout. This will be a big make or break for us. If they are completely outrageous with what these changes will cost, we'll probably walk away. Baby steps......one thing at a time . Thanks for all the pixies, I think they may have helped!

Many Pixies to you. DM me if you want a private rant. lol
We are a week into our new house. We bought and sold in the last three months. I hated the entire process - (ok, looking at potential new homes was kind of fun) and I'm still not comfortable in the new home. I feel like I am on vacation in someone else's home. While I know that feeling will fade as we personalize it in the coming days, weeks and months ahead, it's a hard pill to swallow.
It's definitely stress to the max (especially because we cancelled our Disney Easter trip because we weren't sure which way this was going to go. ) I'm glad that our purchase is in the past.
Good luck and definitely, keep doing those breathing exercises!
I worry about the feeling settled in too. Where we live now is the house we built when we were married 11 years ago - a long time to settle in! Anxious at the thought of possibly starting again....

I know what you are going thru!! We built a new house and moved in in Dec. and still have not sold our old house yet. Good luck with your new roof.
That's very high on my "to worry about list". The bank says, no worries, you can carry both mortgages. Gee thanks Not wanting to go there! Hope your house sells very soon

Well, we are building a new house They've dug the basement and are working on the walls...we close at the end of September. We're very excited and are putting the finishing touches on our current house (including a new roof that just went on) so we can list it if necessary. I say if necessary because even though it's not listed, our agent has already brought people through who are very interested in it. They are coming back Friday for another look and are seriously considering putting in an offer (with no conditions!!!) If you have some to spare, pixies would be much appreciated!! Thanks everyone!!
