There is so much hardship in people's lives right now (including my own) I think some times we forget to look at what is good. Even when "bad" things happen we can look at the "good" in them. So if you want to today, share something you are thankful for, or something good in your life!
Thanks!
Today, for me: Yesterday I got stuck by a bloody needle at work and I am thankful the person agreed to be tested. So far their HIV status came back negative - Yeah! . Still have a lot to go through for testing and waiting, but Grateful for negative test number one!
I am thankful each and every day that I have the family that I have. I couldn't imagine going through this difficult life without my DH, DD, and DS. They make everything all worth it. Also Im thankful for my work family, my police family. We truly are a family!!!! xxoo
LOL! I just saw on Facebook that today is Grass is Always Browner on the Other Side of the Fence Day -- The holiday celebrates anyone who has not been fooled by seemingly greener pastures. (Thank you Sue!)
For me -- my aunt passed away earlier this week, but it led to several days of getting to know cousins that I never met before, either because they were much older or didn't live nearby. A final gift from my aunt.

For me...it's just being able to get out of bed in the morning. DH cannot... MS. And I'm thankful and look forward to Wednesday nights. My DDs and their families are here for dinner....pasta, salad, wine (usually) and lots of "family noise". I'm thankful that my "girls" are local and we see each other daily....the "boys" are not local....1 travels and we see him usually at Christmas and the younger DS (sailor) is "away".....But DS (sailor) should be home in May and we will be having his Thanksgiving and St Patrick's Day (his favorite holidays) dinners.....so we'll all be together then.....I'm thankful for that...to see all my "kids" together.....
We've been hit hard the past year and 1/2 with my hubby's company. It's been feast or famine with his job. Some months are great, we can catch up, other months not so much. But, I am thankful my hubby still has a job, we still have a roof over our heads and I have my family.
I am thankful for so many things! Today I am thankful my kids are off school and I'm off work and we get to spend the day doing nothing together! These days are so awesome!
I am thankful that my DH has been home all week after being gone for work for 4 weeks. I am also thankful that a good friend is recovering more quickly than expected after she had a stroke earlier this week.

For me... down side: overdrawn at bank..... Upside: Money will be in my account on Tuesday. Downside: My father (91) has had a flare of arthritis in his feet & hand Upside: He is feeling better now.
I am grateful that we have enough food to last us until "pay day" and will not be going hungry. I am grateful that my father is like the energizer bunny... just keeps going and going and going. I am grateful that he is still here with us. Every day above grass is a good one.

My 1 year old was diagnosed with a rare and very damaging form of epilepsy last Halloween. Today marks 1 month TOTALLY seizure free!!!! So I'm also thankful for Sabril, her miracle drug. She's catching up developmentally (which doesn't always happen with this), and her neurologists are beyond thrilled with the situation so far.
This week, my DH somehow got Flu A and B at the same time, even though he's had a flu shot. Soooo thankful for the awesome company he works for, that he has been able to take off whenever he wants, with no notice or questions asked, through the crisis with our daughter and still be able to stay home and take care of himself when he's sick. His boss has been nothing but wonderful, we are so blessed.
I'm thankful to have to the most amazing parents in the world. I had some issues with my car last week, and my dad loaned me the money (and a car) to be able to get it fixed. I don't think they know how truly grateful I am for the help.
I feel Blessed to have another day. All my entire family is Healthy. We have 1 beautiful DGD (5) and 1 (3mons.) handsome DGS. I have a DH who is a very hard worker and will take me on our Disney Trips every 2 years. Most of all I am Blessed with the love of my God.
Even though I am currently unemployed and my hubby is working 2 jobs, we still are struggling. That being said, I'm thankful for my family. They keep me grounded and happy, even during the most stressful times.
