Don't really think I need "Pixies", but if you could just keep me in your thoughts today, that would be great. As most of you know, we had to put our 11 year old dog, Pixie, down yesterday. It was peaceful and easy and DD Lauren and I held her until long after she was gone (well, we sat on the floor and petted her - she was too big to hold).
I have a job interview in a couple of hours, and I was up until very late last night: not only do I miss Pixie Dog, but today would have been my daddy's 69th birthday and it's the first one since he died. A lot of emotions today - and I hate being emotional!

Thanks guys! Your pixies worked! The interview went better than I expected and the manager and I seemed to "get" each other right away. First thing she wanted to talk about was my high school: which used to be a great school in a great district but has gone down hill in the last decade or two. Turns out, she graduated with my sister - and I knew her! My sister was #2 in the class (the valedictorian got an A- in one class and Dsis got a B+), and the manager who interviewed me was #3 (she got a B)!
She introduced me around as "This is Teresa, she's going to start our new graduate/orientation class in June."!!!!!!!!!
Of course, she still has to OFFER me a job, and I'll have to accept it, but I feel good about this - and it's really where I want to work.
