About 2 weeks ago I had requested pixies for my Dcousin who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. By the time it was detected (he's 49) it had spread to his spine & liver. I was asking for pixies to help get him into Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. Well, he kinda got in. He will be treated at one of their satellite offices here on Long Island. He lives way WAY upstate NY so him & his DW will be moving in with my parents during treatment. It's still Sloan and I'll take what I can get After talking to his DW the other day I was able to get the full scope of the situation. Up until then I was getting all my info from Dmom and I think they were sparing her the full reality. He was told Stage 4 and 6 months without treatment and 18 months with. Anyway, keep those pixies coming since they seem to work wonders
My DBinL's mother was treated for advanced colon cancer at Westchester Medical Center. She lived over two years past her initial diagnosis with a good quality of life.

Glad to hear he's being treated at one of the better hospitals for it.
Continued pixies for his treatment and well being while being treated.
As a side note; It's wonderful your parents are opening their home to your cousin and his wife. I'm throwing in some pixies for them too. Having house guests is hard enough, let alone ill ones.
