My new Granddaughter!
With all the sadness on the boards lately, I thought I'd post some good news.
I don't have any children, but my good friends Victoria and Fred (Victoria is an occasional poster here: Victoria L.) are adopting a beautiful 7-year-old girl named Juliana. Because Victoria and Fred have both lost their parents, I get to be "Nana Laurie"! Juliana is bright, funny and loving. She turned 7 in March and is in the first grade. We're already planning her first WDW trip for August of 2013. I wish we didn't have to wait so long, but we want her to be completely settled in before we leave home!
