Well, I'm sitting here with our new puppy, Buster. DH did name him and has already fallen in, well - maybe not love, but certainly like.
He's a pistol, but we're up to the challenge. He's also very loving and very well behaved for his age. Can you believe we're the 4th home for him, and he's only 6-8 weeks old? No worries, he won't have a 5th home.
And, although DH didn't mean to, he's kept with the Disney tradition. Yes, Buster is a Disney name!
Yes! That we know. I ran into a vet tech at the pet store today, and she said she was pretty sure he is half pit bull. Would I have wanted a 1/2 pit before today?? NO. Do I want to return this adorable little guy because he is probably 1/2 pit? Heck no!
I found out something interesting this evening; while Buster's last family made arrangements to surrender him 2 days ago, he was actually in the custody of the rescue society for all of 1 hour and 45 minutes - 45 minutes of which was spent with us! The lady at the rescue told me she turned down over 2 dozen other people in favor of us! Our story touched her.
