Does she have a lot of community service hours that she has to perform? My dd does for the high school version of NHS. They required 30 hours just to apply then after you were selected (in March) you had to do 12 more by June then you have a certain amount over the summer and then another large sum next school year.

Yes Kris! I'm not sure how much yet, but briefly Bri mentioned to me that she has to do some community service at least for now over the summer. I know we'll find out more info hopefully after the Induction Ceremony on May 8th. In the meantime, Bri is trying to figure out what she wants to do for community service and what counts!

At our school alot of different things count and my dd has found things that she likes doing. One of the things she does is volunteer at our local library. I'm sure Bri will have no problem finding fun things to do for her community service and it usually sounds worse than it is. She should be very proud of herself and I'm sure you are!!!!!
