Ugghh, we have a severe water main break here in Monmouth County. While we have plenty of water pressure, there is a boil alert. I should have gone out to buy water, but I didn't. Now I'm boiling water to give to my dogs and cats and having to wait till it cools.
If you are still having the water problem short of buying water for your pets and your family stores similar to Walmarts, KMarts and other stores sell a small filtering system that attaches easy to your kitchen sink faucet. It is about the size of a large coffee cup.

Yeah, boil alert has now been lifted. It really makes you appreciate all those little things you take for granted. We went to a McDonald's today and I wanted to order a Frappe..well nope, can't do it, cause it's made with water. They were selling cans of soda though, so it wasn't too bad. Although the outdoor watering ban is still in effect, we really don't water our lawn that much, so we should be good to go until it get's completely fixed.
