MY 3 y/o DGS is heading back into surgery here shortly. Please may I request some pixies and positive thoughts? He's being a very brave little man right now, ready to "ride the bed" down the hallway. A few for Mommy and Daddy too...it's hard to send your little one back...I did it when his father was only 13 months old.
Watching them wheel my three year old daughter to surgery to repair her broken arm in the middle of the night was tough (triage meant waiting for them to finish with injured from a car accident before they could get to her). I can relate. Pixies to your grandson and to the family waiting for him.
Many many for all of you. My DD was 6 weeks old when she had her first of many surgeries so I know what you're all going through. I will keep you, DGS and his parents in my thoughts today.
