I am in an absolute panic right now.....we leave for our cruise this Saturday and my kids passports have disappeared!!!!!! They were in DH's desk drawer and are no longer there. DH is at home right now tearing the house apart looking for them....we could really use lots of pixies right now in hopes that we find them!!!!!!
Oh No! Hope you find them.
I know you can get passports in person, in a matter of minutes or hours, if you can prove you are leaving in a short period of time. The only drawback is that you have to go to a passport office. The nearest one to us (Indianapolis, In area) is in Chicago.
You have 3 offices in TX you can go to: Dallas, Houston, and El Paso.
Also, from what I can garner, if you're not flying, the kids may not need a passport? I guess it really depends on where you're going. If you can't find them soon, I'd call the cruise company and ask them about it.
Pixies that you find them today.
Not sure what cruise you are on but for our Bahamas cruise, we were fine with certified state birth certificates for the kids. May be easier to replace those than passports.
