Got home late last night and found a hang-tag from a florist on the door knob: "We tried to deliver flowers, you didn't answer, will try later." Then found a telephone message from them with same message! Ten minutes later they were at the door "trying again" with a beautifuol bouquet - purple flowers in a purple container! The best part was when I read the message from DD Tanja - "We love you - Happy Mother's Day!"
Hey, whatever works. At least you got flowers even though it's the wrong message (unless I'm missing something here - and if it is mother's day, Abby and Lenny are in trouble )
Was it the Purple Peep container?
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the GOOD daughter!! The one who remembers her mom and step-mama on holidays, b-days, etc. (Okay, I remember them, I just don't send them stuff!)
Called DD and thanked her for the flowers, and the message! It was as I thought - she had ordered them in the middle of the night during one of her "I can't get to sleep so I might as well work" stints. As she said, anything was possible at that time of the night!
