What a roly-poly chubber!!!

A little embarrassing, but oh well. We took DJ to his pediatrician yesterday for his 3 month check-up. He was 12lb. 9oz. at last month's. Yesterday he weighed in at 15lb. 5oz.! He's gained 2 3/4 lbs.! He's up to 25" long, too! My little Piglet!

Check this out! This is DJ in a skin-tight 6 month onesie. Time to go clothes shopping again!

Jeannie, I just want to pinch those chipmunk cheeks on your little guy. I can't get over his Fall pictures!

We took DJ for his Halloween costume photos yesterday. I can't wait to see them!

Re: What a roly-poly chubber!!!

That's Donovan's own personal Fall line of tie-dyes. Everything is green and brown. I wanted it to match so I could do all of the tie-dyes in one load of laundry until they're safe to wash with other clothes.

Beaner,

Donovan is just darling. Did the doctor say that he was too heavy. I think he is just right. Maybe he can be Baby Santa this year, just kidding.

Re: What a roly-poly chubber!!!

My son was always over the top of the charts on both weight and height. We had to move him out of his baby carseat before he turned 1, he was just too darn tall and heavy for it anymore.

My daughter was like TINKN's....height at 95% or above and wieght in around 50%. She's a long lean string-bean.

Personally, I think they need to revise the wieght/height charts. They haven't been redone in years and kids are just getting bigger and bigger.

Oh Chrissi, he is just darling!!! I think Ethan was over 16 pounds at his 4 month check up!!! I'll see if I can post a picture of him, his cheeks & chin looked just like DJ's...unfortunately they are thinned out like a big boy now...I sure do miss those chubby little legs

Re: What a roly-poly chubber!!!

Oh Chrissi, he so so adorable. I love chubby babies! Don't feel bad either at Madeline's two month appointment she was 24 1/2" and 13lbs. 7oz. And at her four month she jumped up to 26 1/4" and 15lbs. 10oz. I weighed her this weekend and she's already 17lbs 5 oz. and she's not even six months yet! I love it!

Re: What a roly-poly chubber!!!

What a cutie! Don't worry about the baby fat. You could send some Alli's way. She's been 95 and up % for her height and we can't get her weight past 60%. Doctor says she's healthy, just long and lean. Still doesn't make me feel any better when people say she's skinny. The thing is that she eats a lot and has a great appetite. She just never stops moving.
