Update on health issues Good day folks. No change on Massachusetts, which is good news. A cousin will call or IM us tonight with an update. Uncle was going to Boston for radiation today. MiL is back in the hospital. The doctor said he wanted more tests there. We had to call the local ambulance (the one I retired from 2 years ago) for a non-emergency mdical transport. It was guys I knew and they took care of her. She was admitted again after the doctor saw her. There seems to be something wrong with her hip that does not show up on x-rays. MRI is scheduled for tomorrow morning. At least my wife can get some rest while they take care of her Mom. Both of our backs are killing us from lifting her.

Re: Update on health issues Don, I am glad that there have been no major changes today. I continue to pray for you and your wife and family. If I could offer some advice. Try (as much as possible) to get either physical or at least mental breaks from all the work and worry. I am the sole caregiver for my son, who is an extremely ill 12 yr. old, and this is the only thing that keeps me going. I will include you in my positive thoughts. As I am fond of saying Keep on keeping on. Michele

Re: Update on health issues Pixie Dust for you, your wife, and all the members of your extended family. I don't know why these things seem to come in groups.

Re: Update on health issues Thanks. We've been here before. We were the primary caregivers for one of my wife's brothers when cancer claimed him. He spent his last 3 months with us and I can highly recommend Hospice.
