| We\'re Home - For a Minute! We're back from our trip - what a wonderful place! I'll be sure to post a trip report when I have time - My DH took 170 digital photos - so it should have some pictures in it! Unfortunately, as some of you may have read, John's grandfather was very ill when we left. He passed away last Saturday afternoon. It is a blessing, he was 95, and in a great deal of pain over the last couple of months. So, we drove home from the airport - we were going to send the girls to school, but school was cancelled today due to an ice storm (roads are fine now), and repacked the suitcase with dress clothes to head back down for the memorial services. Hope everyone here is healthy, and getting ready for a happy holiday season - It doesn't feel much like Christmas here at home - still no tree Probably Sunday or Monday, we will cut and decorate a small tree! I'll try to post the start of the trip report then. |
