alas, I did not [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, we've been really busy of late - that is until this week's stinking blizzard [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/dizzy.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] What a mess! I've been stuck in the house with my poor, sick, green snot spewing little Shane (too much snow "shubbling" apparently) since Monday. [img]graemlins/ukid.gif[/img]

Honestly, though, I've also been absent because I've been feeling kind of blue lately. Joseph and I have been trying for baby #2 for about 5 months now and have been unsucessful so far. I know it doesn't sound like a long time, but I've got some unexplained fertility issues - I had 3 miscarriages, 2 just before Shane was conceived - so it makes me that much more anxious. I mean, once I get pregnant, then I've got to spend then next few weeks wondering if all will be okay. I just wish I could be one of those lucky women who get pregnant and get to enjoy the prospect of life growing inside them as soon as they get the + test.

Anyhoo, sorry to ramble, but you have all always been like family to me and I wanted to let you in on what was going on since it seems I just disappeared. I thank you all for listening [img]graemlins/love.gif[/img]

Jeannie, so sorry little Shane is under the weather. Sending pixie dust to help him get well soon.

And extra baby-making pixie dust to you and Joseph. I know how it is - it took more than a year and some fertility drugs for me to conceive my second child, Kim. It's really heart-wrenching month after month. Hang in there and hopefully you'll get pregnant soon.

Jeannie, we HAVE missed you and pray Shane gets better soon.

Never give up but don't let it take over your life either. The more you worry and stress, the less likely it may happen. (Easy to say, very difficult to do). Remember that no matter what, you have each other and a beautiful son and if God blesses you with another child, it will be that much more joy added to your life.
