My Aunt (my mom's sister) passed away in a tragic accident back in 1995 and never saw her grandchildren - and the kiddos father isn't the most responsible person in the world - they should be in loving hands while Melissa is gone.

Re: Prayer request for my dad and cousin **UPDATED**

I have been away from the 'puter for a few days -- so I apologize for the delay in my reading this.
Sending more thoughts and prayers your family's way.
Here's to a speedy recovery for your father. My in-laws are big "golf nuts" -- so I know how it must be tormenting him to see others enjoying the sport while he watches from the his "window seat."
Many, many prayers to Melissa and her children & the rest of the family. My 2 brothers were both in the Persian Gulf back in '90-91, so I can definitely empathize.
Also much support and prayers go out to the rest of the military personnel and their families right now.

Thank you Kelly and Michelle - Dad is doing much better (even w/o the golf!) and Melissa actually deploys on this Saturday.

Just saw this post. Glad your Dad is okay. He was really smart to have everything checked.

Boy I'm so sorry Steve, I've been so behind in reading the posts I missed this one. I could have helped with the trapezius muscle issue, I've had alot of patients with that recently. Some swear it's from snow shovling. It resolves slowly but your Dad must rest it for it to happen. My prayers and thoughts to you and your family in regards to your niece as well. IF there's anything I can do ie. care packages or friendly letters let me know. We are currently helping a family out my husband works with who's son is in the Gulf by just sending innocent mail and items. Take care>
