My friend is moving to Florida...long story. About This Page:

It's never been a secret that I want to move to Florida..half of my family lives there and that is where I am the happiest, but I have decided to wait until my son graduates from high school (4 years) before I start the process. He wants to stay here, so we wait...

In the meantime, a friend of mine and I talk alot about me moving to Florida and I finally convinced her and her husband to take a trip to WDW. They planned for March. Then her mom moved to Venice, FL. My friend said how she wished she could move there too but she has never even been to Florida so that maybe this trip in March would help her decide.

Then Saturday, she called me to tell me that they have decided to move to FL. Just like that. They are moving on February 1st. Just out of the blue. They have never even been to FL. They are just packing up and going. They found an apartment online and her husband is going down right after xmas to finalize everything and look for a job while she gets things settled here...

I'm so sad. I will miss her so much and too top it all off, I'm so very jelous. The horrible snow this weekend didn't help. I'm so happy for them but I want to go too!!!

hang in there, Jen! At least when you go to WDW, you can visit her too.

Someday when my kids are grown, I will probably move there too.

Won't miss the snow at all.... and isn't it funny that the Boston area actually got more than us for once?

Jen, sorry to hear your friend's moving to Florida, when you'd like to join her. At least you'll be able to go and visit her - and hopefully that time will fly by for you.

Look at the bright side Jen, at least you have a friend down there now, and you can stay with her and get in extra Disney and Florida time. I completely understand.

When Harley and I lived in Shreveport we had the best friends who also served in their church as Minister to Students. We both left there at the same time....we moved to the bootheel of Missouri to work with students at a church here and they moved to Poinciana, FL to work with students there!!! I was bummed about this for a long time...not only did I miss Stephanie but why Why WHY did they get to move 45 mins away from Orlando???? I understand .

On the bright side...Harley and I get to take adult only trips about once a year to visit them and get Disney in the bargain. I'm still waiting on the church in Florida (that I know!!!!!) needs us there.

Anyone know of some church that really needs a great Minister to Students???? I would be HAPPY to send my husband's resume!!!!
