| Potty humor Did your kids ever go though this phase where potty humor is just the funniest thing. Kylor never did, but Jalen is in the stage where the words poop and pee are the funniest things EVER to him His new fave "joke" is asking me to spell ICUP. So I say 'I see you pee' and he rolls around laughing I admit I usually end up laughing b/c he is laughing and then I fear I'm sending the signal that this actually IS funny. Ack! |

| Re: Potty humor It's definitely a 4 & 5 year old thing. My pre-school class loves this humor I also end up laughing from listening to their belly laughs. I don't know if they out grow it because my 41 DH and he's friends still think it's funny |

Isn't it? I think that putting a funny spin on everyday occurences, and things that are perfectly normal is great! I would hate to have him think that life is something so serious that we couldn't all get a good giggle about it now and then. Laugh on Jalen, and while you're at it, say Hi to your Knee! |

| Re: Potty humor I have to say my almost 3-year-old son thinks those are the funniest words!! And not only that but he seems to think that calling people (waiters in restaurants, people in the mall) poopyhead and peepeehead is funny! I die of embarassment EVERY time he calls someone that!! |

| Re: Potty humor My youngest thinks it is hilarious (and she's a girl).
Some kids do it, others don't find it amusing at all. They may never grow out of it (DH), but at leat they learn where it is and is not appropriate!
Of course, the funniest thing to teens is Uranus! |

| Re: Potty humor So is this what I have to look forward to?
I remember being in first grade and learning how to spell and use the word but . We were all giggling over the teacher saying butt out loud. |

| Re: Potty humor My son is in fourth grade and it's still funny. Then there are the jokes about the planet Uranus! You know, are there rings around . . . . ? How many moons are on . . . . ? Gotta love potty humor!

| Re: Potty humor Tina, my DH Paul still laughs at that stuff...
I wouldn't worry about sending the wrong signal, I think it's in the male DNA.
My son's laugh at Bankok too!! (As in "what is the capitol of Thailand?) |

Yes, one can grow old, but growing up is optional!
I think it's just one's sense of humor.
After all, I still find this funny:
Q: Why did Tigger stick his head in the toilet?
A: He was looking for Pooh! |
