Its only been a week since school started and step throat and the flu is already making its rounds. Yuck! Anyone else have this problem yet? Break out the Lysol.

Nope, not a problem. And, I don't believe in all the "germ fighting" things. They do not discriminate between good and bad germs. Seems to me that my friends that use the "germ killing" soap, cleaner, etc. are the ones with kids that get sick faster and easier than my kids and the kids of my friends (and my pediatrcian) that do not try to keep germs away from our kids.
I figure if my kids can kiss the dog and survive, nothing can get 'em.

My kids are in their 4th week of school and both have colds with major runny noses. Yuck. No drink sharing at our house for awhile....

Nothing here either. My little one will get the sniffles from the change of weather, but nothing major. My oldest DD (8) doesn't seem to get sick at all anymore. Ever since we had her tonsils and adnoids out, she maybe gets a cold every other year. I know that washing hands at least 10 times a day helps out also.
