| Show to make your life seem great! I watched the HBO show Chernobyl Heart today. I don't think that I will ever be the same. It is about the children being born in the areas surrounding Chernobyl (remember, the Nuclear plant the exploded). I won't go into details, but one Dr. said that 15 to 20% of the babies born near Minsk are born healthy ! And, there are huge amounts of children with the same type of heart defect (holes in all 4 chambers) that can't be operated on in Russia, because of money that are dying. in the US, the patch to fix the heart is $300! I am not a very religious person, but I hugged my kids estra tight tonight and thanked God for their health. |
