Pixie dust on Life (Updated March 1st) I'm just having one of those weeks were everything is so mixed up that I can't see straight. Full Time Job- Today one of the girls I can't stand was let go. But she has been here 13 years and she doesn't do her job which is to do call backs and alot of other c.s issues. But she would do it when she wanted and come in late and leave early. But since I am the other person who does the c.s stuff this means lots of change for me. Tomorrow I find out in my 11 o'clock meeting what new jobs that I have to do and I'm already swamped so I'm just worried about getting it done and doing it right. Oh and I'm in a cubicle and hoping they will offer me a office since there are 3 available (including hers) on this floor. P/T Job- They are mad at me because I called out sick with the flu and 3 weeks later got a bad virus and now they are trying to hire someone behind my back. I don't know how much longer I will have this job. But they pay 11/hr and I work hard so I am hoping that I am wrong and it's just as a back-up person. Boyfriend Problems- I have been with Jeff since May of last year and we have had our ups and downs. Lately all we do is fight and now he has started to drink more and I really think he has a problem. He can not drink with out getting totally plastered. He parties with his friends atleast 3 nights a week and they can't even have the decency do have a responsible person drive home so I sit at home all worried. He says he will cut back but there are other problems in our relationship that I don't know if we can work out. I am totally independent have worked hard my whole life. He is a momma's boy who is spoiled by her and he only works p/t. Because he doesn't feel the need to work any more then that. I work a full time job and a p/t job. He's a sweetheart and treats me right (when he's not drinking) and I do love him I just don't know if I see a future in it anymore. Any pixie dust for this would help. And lastly my cc's. I had a credit consolidation company that I pay every month to pay all of my credit cards. Now I am getting letters that say that my cc's want double or triple payments because the agency was writing them bad checks. I have stopped my debits from this company but now I have 8 cc's and I feel like im going under. All are closed and I havn't used. I learned my lesson and now am just trying desperately to get out of debt. So today I am totally confused and just want to curl back in bed and not decide anything so please pass any pixie dust my way or even just a happy thought ![]()

Re: Pixie dust on Life Oh Melissa! It doesn't sound too good for you right now. I hope that turns around very soon. I can't believe the credit card thing! I'm so sorry for all the money you lost. There are just so many scams out there; it's hard to know when you're caught up in one. Here's a little more pixie dust to pull you thru. ![]()

Re: Pixie dust on Life OH my gosh, Melissa. I am SO sorry to hear about all this. I know I'm going to sound so Mom-ish right now, but PLEASE be careful with your boyfriend. I would hate for anything to happen to you As for the jobs, what a bummer. It must stink going to work and thinking they're going to be hiring someone to replace you. And what kind of credit consolidation company was this?!? How scary. I hope you can find a more reliable company to help you out with that. I think it sounds like it would be a rough thing to get out of alone - especially if the cc companies are trying to charge you more now. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts, Melissa. Come here anytime for support - we are full of it ![]()

Re: Pixie dust on Life Melissa, to start with! I second what Tina said about the BF situation. AS far as the credit counseling goes, I know exactly what you are going through. We had the same difficulty about 5 years ago (we charged a pregnancy w/complications/delivery on our CCs, plus special formula for a year since we had no health insurance to cover it! ). The agency just went bust and quit sending our payments. It took awhile, but I worked out agreements with each of our CC companies in the same amounts as we had before and we've slowly been making progress. I just want you to know that it can be worked through; it's a hard lesson and a long road, but so worth it in the end knowing you did the right thing by paying off your debt! that you'll feel better about things soon and that everything will get straightened out!
