| \"Bonnaroo 2005\" - traveling pixies for dd, please My 19 year old (will be 20 in November)dd Pam, her boyfriend of 4 years and four others aged 19 to 25 left for Manchester, TN today at 11am for "Bonnaroo 2005". For those of you (like me) who have never heard of Bonnaroo, it is a three day outdoor concert featuring bands such as Dave Matthews etc. They are driving straight through . It is about 775 miles from our house. They will be camping once they get there, no running water, electricity etc. You couldn't pay me to go there - sleep in a tent and no flushing toilets . Anyway, I am basically an overprotective, think of anything and everything that could go wrong, type of parent. Pam is a pretty good kid and generally makes wise choices and decisions. She graduated #4 in her senior class and just finished her freshman year of college with a 3.8 GPA. HOWEVER, kids will be kids and don't always make the wisest, safest, decisions when in certain situations. So if you could please send some "safe traveling" and "return home safe, in one piece, without getting hurt or arrested" pixies, I would greatly appreciate it. She lives away at college during the school year so when she is home I tend to worry a lot more. Here is the website for further info on the concert: www.bonnaroo.com Thank you! |
