| Back pixies please! Well-not feeling so hot today. I pulled a muscle in my back last night putting Matt's baseball bag (or should I say "body bag-it's huge) in the back of the car. It is so heavy and I never had a problem before, but I definately did something. Moving very gingerly and even having to stop typing and stand, or change position. Living on aleve and the heating pad right now. Any pixies you can spare I would appreciate-both boys have baseball playoffs starting today! |

| Re: Back pixies please! Plenty of heading your way that your back gets better soon. I herniated 3 discs in my lower back in April so I know what misery you're going through. Hang in there! |

| Re: Back pixies please! Maybe you could try icing it down instead of heat for a while. I've always heard ice it down first to get the swelling down and heat later after you notice improvement. 10 minutes on 10 off for an hour-frozed peas work well. Oopps, I forget, do you even have peas at home/(SQOD 6/16)!
Take your time today and feel better!!

BTW, using frozen peas as an ice bag is the only reason to have a bag in your freezer! |

| Re: Back pixies please! OH, no. Having a herniated disc myself, I absolutely hate to hear of others in back pain, b/c I honestly know the agony of what they're going through.
Tons of for you, Dianne. I can't imagine having to sit on bleachers for an entire game in that pain. I hope it goes away for you quickly!! |

Thank goodness for the pain killers - I've never tried Aleve, but Motrin is a wonder drug!!!! Sarah has been living on it this week!
Here are some heal quickly pixies - I know you want to see those games! (PS - Make Matt carry his own bag!! If he's big enough to play - he's big enough to carry his equipment!) Does he catch?? |

Yes Marie-he does catch, which is why the bag is so big for all the equipment. I managed to get through the 2 games-but barely! I kept having to sit, stand, walk around, change positions, etc. I have been putting on ice, heat, alternating. I spoke to an MD today who thinks 4-6 weeks!! Great! We go to Disney in 7 weeks so it had better be improved by then! |
