She said she had some people to take care of her house for her since no one is there. I am glad she was safe and sound at her parents house!

Hi guys!!! Thanks for the house pixies!!!

Looks like our side of town didn't get hit as hard as they thought it might (just a bit northeast of Pensacola got hit pretty hard though)

I talked to our house-watcher friend and he said he had no power from just after Dennis hit land until about 9pm last night, but he is back to "normal". He is on leave but said that he would have gotten today off if he'd have had to go to work. The last time I had talked to him he said he hadn't been up to check on our house but he was very confident that there wouldn't be any physical damage. I still worry about flooding, though . . . but since I haven't heard anything from him I am assuming he either hasn't been by yet, or we don't have anything to worry about!!!

So now that I am not stressing about my house . . . I am on to stressing about my hair!!!

I made an appointment for Wednesday to go have my hair (VERY thick, sometimes frizzy, always wavy and mid-shoulder length) cut . . . I don't know what to do with it and I am SCARED to cut it!!! I want to do something different, but still want to be able to pull it back . . . I don't know WHY this is stressing me out!!!

Any suggestions?

Glad to hear everything went well at your home. Nice to know that it is still standing at least. Now for the hair, I have very straight, fine long hair so I can't help with the thick, wavy part but what about getting your hair thinned out or layers. My guess is you want to keep it easy but not so heavy right. I'd try to leave the lengh but go for something lighter. Good luck.
