Hi everyone [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/zwavin.gif[/img] I haven’t posted much since before Christmas (except for some recent posts) [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502no_prv.gif[/img] So much has happened since then. So where should I start?? Well at the beginning of December my mom and Jerry moved [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] They were renting the townhouse where they were living so they bought a townhouse. (We were there on Christmas and it is SO nice. A lot nicer then the one they were renting.) It was very emotional for me because my mom never did anything with my room after I moved out after getting married. So when she told me she was moving I finally had to pack up all my things [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/cry.gif[/img] That townhouse held a lot of memories for me since we lived there for about 6 years. But they are very happy in there new townhouse and it is VERY nice so I’m very happy for them.

On Christmas Eve we had my mom (Jerry who is my mom’s boyfriend was sick), my dad, Marilynn (my dad’s ex fiancé), Chris’ parents, Chris’s brother Tim, and his grandfather for dinner. Chris made a standing rib roast (there were lots of sides but I don’t remember them all now [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502no_prv.gif[/img]) and it was [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/yuma.gif[/img] Then on Christmas morning we (me, Chris and Meeko too) went to Chris’ parents’ house for breakfast and to open presents with them, Tim and Sandy (my doggy sister-in-law). Then after that Chris, me, Meeko, and Chris’s parents went to my mom and Jerry’s house. Chris’ parents only stayed for a little while then they went to visit Chris’ grandfather. Just as they were leaving Jerry’s son Steve, daughter-in-law Ellen, and grandsons Brandon and Daniel…oh yeah and their loud mouth annoying dog Charley. As soon as Charley got in the house he went after poor Meeko. So Meeko spent the rest of the day upstairs in their computer room [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] We had lunch then it was time to open presents. The present I most couldn’t wait to open was the envelope to find out where we were going on this family trip. For Christmas 2004 my mom and Jerry started planning family trips. (Family meaning them, me, Chris, Steve, Ellen, Brandon, Daniel, and Jerry’s other son Rich and daughter-in-law Kara.) Last year we went to Roseland Ranch which is a dude ranch and we all had a great time. So it was exciting to see where we were going this year. Well unfortunately Jerry got his grandsons Robosapians so they were playing with them forever [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img] and boy are those things annoying after awhile (and to think I almost bought Chris one for Christmas but I got him an R2D2 robot instead which is way cooler [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502yes_prv.gif[/img]). So when they finally took a break from playing with them we FINALLY opened our envelopes. This year we are going to *drum roll* The Bahamas [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/woot.gif[/img] [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/thewave.gif[/img] Well about 2 weeks later we got an e-mail from Jerry. Chris calls me from work and tells me that Jerry sent us an e-mail and that I have to look at it now so I drug myself off the couch (I had to go to work early that day so I was relaxing before I had to leave). The e-mail starts off with our itinerary then he told us to save money he sent up for us to see a short presentation and to click on the link for more information. (I was still on the phone with Chris) I started complaining and he told me to just to download it so I did. It said “Carol and Jerry are getting married...Saturday April 22, 2006...Barefoot on the Beach at One O’clock”. I instantly started freaking out and saying I knew it I knew it. I asked my mom before they moved when they were getting married and she told me there is no way she would get married again. Well I was right [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I love being right [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502yes_prv.gif[/img] So as soon as I read that I called her and said “I knew it” [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img] I can't believe it my mom and Jerry are FINALLY getting married. They have been together for 8 or 9 years. Kara and I are even currently planning a bachelorette party for my mom in the Bahamas

Then at the being of January Pathmark closed the store I was working in [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/cry.gif[/img] [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/zcry.gif[/img] That was so difficult on us all especially my MIL who only had a year left until she could retire [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] I absolutely hate where they transferred me. It’s closer to home (only 5 minutes instead of 45 minutes) but the Pharmacist is an absolute you know what and he was so mean to me one day he made me [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/cry.gif[/img] So I am currently looking for a new job [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502yes_prv.gif[/img] but not having any luck [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502no_prv.gif[/img]

The wedding on the beach will be nice if my mom doesn't get cold feet first [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502yes_prv.gif[/img] She has already had one case of them so I might have to drag her down the aisle or whatever you walk down for a beach wedding [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img]
