My Family and I have ps for the character breakfast at the Artist Point at Wl at the end of June. I just read that they were closing down this character breakfast effective this summer. Have any of you heard anything about this??

Re: Artist Point Character Breakfast

All I know so far is that I got this message today from Scott at the PS Planning Guide:

"Just got word that as of June 1, 2001, the Winnie the Pooh Character
Breakfast at Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge will be discontinued.
Artist Point will be serving dinner only. I'll be updating the PS Report
later today to reflect this change.

For those wanting a Pooh character meal, you can still go to the Crystal
Palace in the Magic Kingdom or attend the Old Key West breakfast on
Sundays, Mondays or Wednesdays.

Scottwdw"

He usually has very good information. So unfortunately, this is probably true.
Sorry

Re: Artist Point Character Breakfast

Too bad. It was a great place for a character breakfast. We ate there with Pocahontas and John Smith in 1997. My DD was 7 at the time and was smitten by the fair lad....lol

Too bad, indeed. DH and I ate at Artist Point back in '97 when we stayed at the WL. We were planning on revisiting it for breakfast on our upcoming November trip.

Re: Artist Point Character Breakfast

Well, gee whiz. We did not like Pooh, but we did not want the breakfast to go away. We also did the breakfast back before the Pooh folks took over.

nullWe are so disappointed. We booked our last night in September just our 2 year old could have breakfast with Pooh before we leave.
