50s Prime Time

I've heard so many funny stories about this one that I really do want to try it.

But here is my concern, we generally eat at the "higher" end restaurants due to my SEVERE (read life-threatening) food allergies. I have to be very careful as to what I eat (and to how it's cooked, etc). Anything with eggs or poultry are no-nos (I'm not going to hang out with the Reedy Creek Paramedics like I did in 97). How flexible is the restaurant? How much care did you get there?

Feedback! Please!!

Re: 50s Prime Time

Beth, the best idea is to let them know right when you make your PS that you have food allergies and then repeat it when you check in and to the waiter when he/she comes to the table.
My husband has the same problem, different alleries, and we have found them to be very helpful when they realize the seriousness of the issue, rather then thinking that he is just "picky" about what he eats.

Re: 50s Prime Time

Believe me, I do tell them when I make the PS, when we check in, etc. But I was just wondering about this specific restaurant. I have found some restaurants at WDW to be more open and understanding than others.
