....we've eaten dinner at Teppan Edo (formerly Teppanyaki)...4 times in the past 4 years. Regardless of the name of the restaurant at the time...the food and service has always been wonderful!
We do the hibachi table dinner...and the chef's are fabulous. We were actually lucky enough to have the SAME chef the past two years in a row. The food is tasty, plentiful...and...actually a bit more on the healthier side (in my opinion) than other hibachi type restaurants (they do not serve fried rice)...but instead serve udon noodles...in moderation...with a greater emphasis on some very tasty veggies along with your meat / fish / or chicken choice. The chef's culinary skills are also a real treat to watch....
The atmosphere is really super...and the newly renovated / decorated interior is quite appealing. If you're a fan of this type of food / dining experience....you'll have a great time.
I will ditto JerseyDad's opinion! Last time my DH and I were at DW we stayed at the Hilton DTD and ate at Bennihana. The Chef didn't even try to be entertaining, and neither the food or the atmosphere held a candle to our experience at Epcot. It was great food and great fun!
We've eaten there a number of times and have always had a great experience there. The chefs are a lot of fun to watch, as they prepare the food in front of you and the food is excellent.
We love Teppan Edo! We tried it for the first time on our last trip, after reading many good reviews, and were not disappointed. The food was delicious (as well as the adult drinks!) and the kids were enchanted by the chef, who really put on quite a show. I would highly recommend this place!
