Best Meals

What are the best vegetarian meals you've experienced at Disney from anyone whether vegetarian or not. Thanks!

My daughter is a vegetarian and her favorite meal is the veggie lasagna (Lasagnes de legumes du soleil a l'huile d'olive au thym)Chef de France at EPCOT.

I am a vegetarian and had mostly good experiences while dining in September. Many restaurants are very willing to make something special...just ask your server to ask the chef. At most restaurants, the chef came out and talked to me first.

Ohana was the very best! Not alot of choices on the regular menu but the chef created something WONDERFUL! Even a special dessert. This was great!

Akershus Storybook - the veg. ravioli was very good.

Whispering Canyon Cafe - vegetarian enchilada - this was good but had a lot of barbeque sauce (which, as a vegetarian, I am not so used to). I enjoyed it but DH actually LOVED it more than me! (DH is not vegetarian and ordered something else).

Biergarten - just a warning here. I was told that there would be veg. choices at this buffet and there really were not. The chef said he would get something special and it was from a neighboring CS Chinese restaurant and was not good. So, that was wierd experience for me - however, DH loved this, too.

Again, most restaurants will work with you and don't be afraid to ask what they can make that is vegetarian.

Another vegetarian here. Mama Melrose has a great eggplant napolean. TS is much easier than CS. I got very tired of veggie burgers.

My vegetarian daughter loved Boma, and the vegetable ravioli at LeCellier. She's also a big fan of the CS restaurant in Morocco at Epcot. And finally, the 50's Prime Time Cafe was very nice to her when we went there. They only had one vegetarian item available at that time so they let her sample it and told her that if she didn't like it they could make her something else. Very, Very nice. (big tip followed!)
