According to waltdisneyworld.com, it's only open for 7 nights total in August and September. I get that it's probably overflow for the free dining promo, but does anyone know if it will be a good place to watch the fireworks from? Or if the food will be up to par? Or if it's open for another reason entirely? It's only open on Sundays from mid-August to the end of September, and that doesn't really seem like enough to actually help with the crowds from free dining.
I dont know if it will be over by the time you are in WDW or not. I have never seen this place open. Makes sense that it would be overflow for free dining.

Discuss.
Since they've extended the free dining offer several times now maybe the crowd level isn't too high? Disney is very good at managing the resort #s and the estimated park #s. They are very quick to open a restaurant on a dime if they see an increase in numbers.
But the area definitely has to be clear for the nights they are offering the Wishes Dessert Party.
