Annual pass or DVC discount on DDP?

I swear I read somewhere that dvc members or annual pass holders(cant remember which) get 30% OR 20% off the DDP. Can anyone verify this info? Did this offer ever exist for DVC members or passholders? I cant remember where I read this info...it was on a website.

Actually, i found this on allears.net....

Disney Dining Plan for Passholders - Passholders can save up to 30% off dining. Just purchase the new Passholder Package that includes accommodations at a select WDW resort and the Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Dining Plan offers one Table Service meal, one Quick Service meal and one snack at over 100 participating restaurants including Character Dining. If you want, you can even choose the Disney Deluxe Dining or Dine & Wine plan, too. For details, go to http://disneyworld.com/dineupgrade or call 407-WDISNEY

and after reading it a couple more times, i realized that it was just saying you can get the DDP and save on dining, not save 30% on the DDP. To an over eager reader, this sounded amazing at first! It would be awesome if you could get 30% off the actual DDP!!!!

If you are going during one of the peak "holiday" season times when the price of the dining plans goes up, then you do effectively get a discount on them as a DVC member, as DVC members pay the base rate throughout the year, with no increase at holiday times. That's a new perk for this year.
