So I know crazy, but I have never tried one of these. I don't have a sweet tooth, so they never really intrested me. HOWEVER being almost 6 months pregnant, I do enjoy sweets now. Sooo I will be trying one this visit, which one is better??? The regular Dole Whip, OR the float version? And again, what is the difference? Since I have to be giving up my favorite Grey Goose Slush this visit, I'd figure I try something new
Thanks for helping me decide!!!
I both the pineapple Dole Whip and the pineapple dole whip float!! The difference is, the pineapple Dole Whip is just the pineapple soft serve, while the float is the soft serve in a glass of pineapple juice. The float is much more tart (to me), because the juice is not as sweet as the soft serve. Maybe since you aren't quite as into sweet things, you'd prefer that? Although pineapple juice is very acidic and I think can play with some people's digestive systems if they have too much so that's something to keep in mind too. Personally I find the float with the juice to be the most refreshing when it's really hot out. I don't really think you can go wrong either way though!!
I've never tried one either, but on November 4th, I am planning to try my first Dole Whip or Dole Whip Float! Yum.
Good luck deciding on a snack for you and the baby!
I enjoy them both but tend to lean towards the regular dole whip - it's always more refreshing for me! As far as not having a sweettooth - my husband is the same way, but LOVES dole whips!!
The float is the soft serve IN pineapple juice. If I were you, I'd order the float first - you can still taste the soft serve by itself (on top of the juice), and also taste the float at the bottom. That way you'll know which one (or both) you like, without having to buy two separate ones.
