Deluxe Dining Plan,Option A,or...

Need to tap into the power of Passporter for a mini-dilema.
DW (Coop) and I are planning a September visit of 11 days !!! We get to make reservations next Thursday for Old Key West. We are planning on using the DDP,and our plan is to do mainly 2 credit dinners, and 1 credit early meal. Here's our options: A) breakfast (although there are not a lot of choices) and a "normal time" dinner or B) an early lunch,at almost anywhere/everywhere,and a "late" dinner. I know we will probably do a little of both,BUT I always like to hear your thoughts and opinions.
Here's a list of some of the places we'd like to make ADR's for: Boma(breakfast and a dinner),Fulton's,Yachtsmans,Citrico's,Brown Derby,Koussina(breakfast),Nacossees,1900 Park Fare, Jiko,Wolfgang Puck,
Cape May Cafe,Cinderella's Royal table,Yak & Yeti,Oliva's..
WHAT DO YOU THINK???
Thanks to all!

He means the DxDP. Not just DDP. We did DxDP last year and loved the convenience. Also since there are a bunch of 2 TS places we want to go to. LeCellier for dinner, Yachtsman, HBD. We also want to go to 1TS places like Restaurant Marrikesh, Le Chefs de France as well as the others he mentioned.

We like to go to breakfast (especialy Character breakfasts) around 9:30 and then have a late dinner. Between meals we use snack credits or pick up something OOP if we are doing a lot of 2 credit meals.

We do the same thing. We've only not done the DxDP one time in 20+ times, and we hated it.
Late lunch/early breakfast and then a late dinner with maybe a snack or two in between. No need for anything else.
Is Le Cellier 2 TS for lunch? If it's only 1, I'd do that instead. I honestly do not feel that the dinner is worth 2 TS credits, but it's good. An early lunch there would fill you up and last until late, late, late!
1900 Park Fare; I'd recommend for both breakfast and dinner. If you only want to go for one meal, dinner is great! We love the interaction with the characters. Yes, Alice is nice, but sometimes it's fun to enjoy the NOT nice characters!

We're not great breakfast people, so we tend to snack for breakfast and then get a lunch reservation for between 11 and 12 and then have dinner around 7 or 8.

We're planning on using that strategy for our August trip too....I plan on eating 1TS lunches at 11:00-11:30ish, and dinner later on at 6:30 or so. In past trips, when DS was younger, we'd eat dinner early, like at 5 or 5:30. I'm looking forward to the later dinner now that he can wait that long to eat!

I'm confused as to why you think there are not a lot of choices for breakfast? I prefer breakfast over lunch and I don't have small children, but enjoy seeing the characters. Chef Mickey's and Cape May are two GREAT breakfast choices. Their buffets are wonderful. So many choices on them. Tusker House is also a favorite. You can really bypass the characters but really, don't pass on such great breakfast oppurtunities!! Then you can have a light lunch and an awsome dinner.

We also enjoyed the breakfasts. Tusker House at AK was our favorite. It was great not to have to wait in lines to see the characters because we already saw them! I would also recommend doing breakfast at CRT. We really enjoyed that as well. On days you do breakfasts, use your snacks for a light lunch. We loved the deluxe plan.

We are staying at Old Key West, and were looking for breakfast more in DD. we've never done a character meal,Hoop de Doo Review was the closest we've come to that. Honestly I feel a little funny with a character meal when we are kid-less on these trips.HAHA I am a buffet fan, especially at Disney.

The character meals are fun even without kids. They won't look at ya funny or nothing!

Our fave breakfast is Crystal Palace (great food, beautiful views, get into park early and get pics with no strangers in the background...)

We have heard good things about Boma and Kouzina for breakfast. May be worth checking into those.

So far, the plans look good! Nice to have you on the boards! Took me a few posts to figure out who you were...until Coop replied.

We love character breakfasts! They're a "must-do" every trip and my kids are 20 & 21! Our favorite is 1900 Park Faire (that Mad Hatter is a hoot!), but really enjoyed Crystal Palace when we were there in Dec. Got a great big hug from Pooh! A non-character option that is getting good reviews is The Wave. Can't speak from experience, since I haven't eaten there...yet.

One of our favorite things this past trip was lunch with an imagineer @ The Brown Derby. It's not on the dining plan, but so much fun. It's about 90min to 2 hours with an imagineer and you are able to ask,ans talk about ANYTHING having to do with the parks, and rides, and resorts, ect. They seem to enjoy it as well and ask questions about guests experiences. That and the Brown Derby has an outstanding menu, what a great afternoon we had! Actually it was 11/11/11 and on top of that we did all 4 parks, and topped it off with Mickeys "Very Merry Christmas" party.
