Red Velvet Pancakes??? Oh My!

I just saw in the AllEars newsletter that Kona Cafe is serving Red Velvet Pancakes w/ Cream Cheese Topping temporarily for a Valentine's special. Oh my, that sounds so good! If anyone tries them, please post back how they are. A picture would be even better!

Yum! Too bad they're not heart-shaped, LOL. That sausage looked pretty good, too. Probalby because I have not allowed myself to have any sausage for awhile.

You are exactly right! Heart-shaped would be perfect with a red pancake. Hmm, I may have to play around with this idea and surprise DH and the girls Valentine's Day morning! Great idea

Oh Lord!!! I'm tempted to drive all the way down to Kona just for the pancakes. It can't be more than a 26 hour drive.

These are probably not as good as Kona but Target sells a box mix for Red Velvet Pancakes w/cream cheese frosting that you can make at home. We did them for Christmas morning and they are not too bad. We also did the Pumpkin ones for Thanksgiving.

I wonder if you could make them using a boxed cake mix??? I know Rachael Ray does a pancake/birthday cake thing.
