REVIEW
The chef made me the nachos. I already had the cheeseburger and Mickey bar so what about a LITTLE NOSH!!! OMG, what was they thinking? A giant pile of corn tortilla chips topped with beef, cheese and sides of jalepenos, salsa, and sour cream cheese. The white ceramic tray has three compartments for the sides and a big compartment for the nachos. It could easily make a meal for some folk. Not too spicy but still a really great nacho meal, one of the best ever. The bartender was a very nice and helpful lady. I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast, lunch, snacks, or a midnight snack.
Last call is a quarter of midnight so get you noshes and head down to the beach for a quiet midnight repast.

Captain's Grill opens next door to Compas and Ale at 7:30 am for a quick bite, sit down meal, or to sit and drink coffee, very genial folks.

Very nice bartender and a nice nook for dinner without a long wait. Shares kitchen with Captain's Grille.
There is a sofa and big comfty chairs for parking as well as booths and the beautiful bar. On the wall behind the bar up top is the white silhouttes of crew on the water, lots of individuals in boats on the water in a line.
Be warned that the menu will be changing over the next couple of months.
Sheila the bartender is someone nice and a wonderful person.

Disneyland was fun with flag retreat and pickles. I have a home here, thank you. GAC is NOT a "front of the line pass".

Hurricane Hannah's
It is located next to the pool at Yacht Club next to the main walkway along the beach.
The only thing not on the online menus is the wide variety of hot teas available.
There was not much seating other than on my scooter. Hotel guests can go park by the poolside however or on the beach. Staff is very helpful and try hard to meet dietary requests. They gave me a pager while I waited, wow only fancy restaurants usually do that.

Condiments are the barebones ketchup, yellow mustard, relish, and mayo from Heinz. I got a pancake, oops, burger on a gluten free bun with a piece of lettuce and two tomato slices. I swear it was the size of a pancake. The meat was done right and over all it was a great burger considering the minimal toppings.

Cole Slaw, mayo, and French fries all have soy in them. They will give you cabbage slaw which is a nicely done cole slaw but without the dressing. Again the idiots in purchasing sees it fit to buy everything that has soy in it. I swear that they would buy Kosher pickles with soy if they could.

WARNING: I am paying for this nosh. The ice cream is in a regular freezer not like at carts. I had Mickey chocolate on my scooter which then smeared all over my pretty blue tote bag. SCREAMS, my laptop fits just right at the bottom of that bag. They will give you a paper boat for catching drippings if you request one. Paper boats are the things they serve fries in. It was like a hot day race to finish the Mickey bar as my appetizer. Hot lets the ice cream and chocolate melt going down and not cause dental strain or brain freeze.

Overall opinion
If you want a meal or nosh or adult drink then go inside the hotel to Compass and Ale, Crew's Cup, or Captain's Grill. Yes, you will have to dress in shoes and at least a top and shorts but it is comfortable in there, climate controled, and great service. The lounges have televisions.

If you want to eat by the pool try asking the lounges for food to go as that is an option far better than at HNurricane Hanna's. I would say the food and drinks are typical of a Disney park but the burger was bigger. It is a great place to get a nosh or drink and convenient for pool side guests. There is a separate line for Adult drinks.
