I'm not sure (we stayed there in August & had the character breakfast almost every morning). One morning we had the character breakfast at Hollywood & vine which was cute (you take the boat right there from the dock at th yacht club), that might be another good option for you
I don't know if there will be an additional character breakfast at BC, but we loved the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's and at the Crystal Palace.
In case you didn't know, the only characters there are Minnie, Donald, and Goofy so if there is no replacement, you won't be missing a ton of characters. And all three of them can be seen elsewhere. Yes, not in beachware, but they're cute at Chef Mickey's in their aprons and chef coats and at Tusker House in their Safari gear. Minnie isn't at TH though - it's Daisy instead and it's the only meal you can see her at.
We really enjoyed our character breakfast at Tusker House! I'm not a hard girl to please at breakfast, as I just love breakfast in general, but this one stood out for me because of the variety of the foods. I mean, I love Crystal Palace as much as the next person, but if I had to choose, I'd go back to Tusker House. The characters in the Safari gear was really cute, too. My only complaint, if I had to have one, was that the wait seemed a bit long. I want to say our ressie was for 9:30 or so and I believe we waited for nearly 45 mins. But, once we were inside and had our plates and the characters came around, it was worth it.

Wow. Everytime we've had a TH ADR, we've gotten right in. The only "wait" we've had has been for our pictures with Donald and if we were in that line even 5 minutes, I'd be surprised.
Thanks! We have a "brunch" schedulled for Hollywood and Vine (11:20 seating so it's still technically breakfast, but lunch begins 20 minutes later).
We ate at Chef Mickey last time and it was our worst meal...not necessarily foodwise, but we had a really early ADR, and our wasn't keen on getting up and coming downstairs and then burst into tears when he realized he'd missed Goofy. I also didn't feel tremendously comfy with the allergy procedures because the chef told us what was okay off the buffet line for our child to eat, but I was worried about cross-contamination issues (safe potatoes right next to two unsafe dishes...that kind of thing).
We LOVED Crystal Palace for dinner...somehow I missed they have breakfast too?
Off to research Tusker House to see if it would be okay with the dairy/tree nut and strawberry allergies...
I don't have allergies, I have intolerances and TH is by far, one of the best places that I've eaten with them. The first year I had a meal especially prepared for me that was totally wonderful. Last year, nothing special was made for me but that's because there was so much on the line that was made in ways I could actually eat the food. Either way - special made food or food off the lines, I have to say give it a try and as always, talk to the CM at the podium and also your server once seated. Good luck deciding.
