I think I finalized out ADRs!

I can make ADRs tomorrow (even though it's less than 180 days until we check-in). The reservations are for myself and DH and DD (age 4). Here is our plan:

Sunday 10/14 House of Blues DTD
Mon. 10/15 (Quick service at MK)
Tues. 10/16 Disney Jr. Play n Dine character breakfast and Mama Melrose (HS)
Wed. 10/17 CRT breakfast at MK
Thurs. 10/18 (Quick service at MK)
Fri. 10/19 Rainforest Cafe at AK

On Thurs., MK is open 8am-7pm and we just plan to do QS meals. ON Mon., it's open 9am-12am. We plan to wake up, eat breakfast at the resort (AoA) and then go to MK. We'll most likely come back mid-afternoon and change to get back to MK for fireworks later that evening.

Your plans look great.... : )

On 10/19 did you mean Crystal Palace? Rainforest Cafe is at Animal Kingdom and DTD.

When you say QS- are there particular ones that you enjoy more than others?
I ask because our dates are June 14th til June 23rd- and I only planned 5 meals with reservations, because my Boys like to have breaks in between scheduled meals.

Just curious- and what resort are you staying in?

We're staying at AoA (I changed it, I meant AK not MK). I just want reservations made ahead of time and if we need to cancel, we'll cancel (in time so we don't get charged). I still want to make a reservation at MK somewhere for dinner one evening but I'm not sure when or where. We'll see.

I have changed half of what I wanted to do by reading everything again! It is so hard making reservations when we've never been there before, so thank goodness for the Internet! I have decided not to eat a sit down dinner at AK, but instead, we'll go over to DTD and just eat a QS meal. We want to do lunch at MK at the Plaza (perfect for us) and since the park is open 8-7, it will sort of cut our day in half.

This is so hard and I bet I change it again before tomorrow! I think I just need to stop looking more! I think at this point, I am just excited about fireworks, Fantasmic, and CRT for breakfast (I LOVE breakfast food and we're doing at least 2 buffets for breakfast!)

Nice plans!

By the way, I think everyone struggles over making ADRs, even those of us who've been plenty of times before - there are just so many wonderful places to sample and go back to.

Well I booked 5 of our 6 meals (since CRT costs 2). I still need to do one more. Since we'll be at MK 8am-7pm one day (Thurs. 10/18), I was going to look for something there. However, MNSSHP is that evening and I was told it will be crowded. However, it we have a reservation, it should not be too bad (one would assume)>

I have since changed them about 15x (no lie). I think I am finally set with them, but I have too many ADRs. I might upgrade our dining package at some point, so I want the ADRs. I just need to see if the difference in price with upgrading the package would be worth it.

Looks great. QS at DTD is always a great idea. Love WolfgangPuck Express and Earl of Sandwich.

Are you doing the House of Blues Gospel Brunch on the first Sunday? We loved that. Very great start to the week.

Enjoy!

My ADRs are all totally different. I have changed them more times than I can remember. We get in around 11:15 the day we arrive ( a Sunday), so no brunch for us. We have character breakfasts (CRT, Princesses, Tusker House, and H&V), and a few other ADRs (most of which I will cancel).

I know DD will love the character meals best and I like the idea of doing them first thing (to get in before the park opens), or a late breakfast. I don't care for most of the food for the dinner character meals which is why we are doing breakfasts. I do have some dinner ADRs scheduled, but like I said, I am cancelling most. I don't want to pay OOP if I don't have to (we are using the DDP).
