Le Cellier Substitute?

Hi! DH and I are going to be at WDW in 16 days! We planned this trip last minute, and he REALLY wants to try Le Cellier, but I can't get any reservations! Can you suggest a tasty alternative? We've never been to Le Cellier, we just walked by and smelled the aromas. He's def a big meat eater. We don't mind if it's signature dining or not. We just love good food, and wanted to try a nice steakhouse during our weeklong trip.
Thanks!
Angela

Yachtsman steakhouse at the yacht and beach club is very good. It's a signature and has fabulous options for steaks. I love the food and the atmosphere and their Caesar salad is to die for!
We also really love narcooses which is at the grand floridian. They have surf and turf so if your husband is into that, narcooses is a great option.everything there is fantastic as well but I would say that yachtsman has more of a steakhouse menu and would be more similar to the choices at le cellier.

I second the suggestion of Narcoosee's. It is DELICIOUS! I've not gotten steak there personally, but DH has and he has nothing but wonderful things to say about our meals there also.

Another vote for the Yachtsman Steakhouse! Ask for Bill, he is an awesome waiter. (sorry, can't remember his last name and I think there are 2 Bills).

I'll also put in a vote for Yachtsman Steakhouse. We tried them on our last trip and loved it.

Yet another Yachtsman fan here. We love Le Cellier but we looooove Yachtsman! Try the truffle mac & cheese.

Kona Cafe at Polynesian has my favorite steak, there is a terriaki version with pineapple and a ginger version, both are excellent and always a must do for us. Portion is large enough to satisfy any appetite and it is only 1 TS credit. Can also get smoothie here as drink option and it is very tasty and a nice change from soda

Keep trying all hours of the day for every day of your trip to see if you can get a reservation. People drop reservations so there is hope. When you are in epcot you can stop by and ask if they can squeeze you in, Sometimes they may have openings especially if it is not a weekend.

I love the steak at Raglan Road with mashed potatoes and topped with onion rings.

Besides Yachtsman there is on the Boardwalk at the Swan/Dolphin the Shula's but I rarely hear anything about them good or bad. I think I need to try them someday soon.

Wow! Thanks for the suggestions. I've been trying daily to get ANY seating time with no luck. I will show DH the menus for your suggestions and see which he would like to try. BenjiBoo25, we planned this trip in Feb, so not quite last minute, but in terms of ADRs I guess it is! Nght10gale we had Kona Cafe in August and really enjoyed it! Thanks again guys! I love PPers, you guys are the best!

Definitely keep trying for Le Cellier, but the Yachtsman Steakhouse would be a good alternative.

Definetly try to do a walk by if you really want to eat there. We tried one year and could not get a ressie, decided to walk up when they had opened for dinner and the hostess asked to please wait a few minutes she would check and if something was available we would be seated shortly. Within 10 minutes we were called and she told us on the way to our table they do leave a table or two open for walk ups. Don't give up yet!!!
