99 cent card to card

I made a reservation at Le Cellier and my credit card was charged 99 cents. I thought nothing was charged until you did not show up?

Wait a couple of days and see if the charge actually goes through. My guess is that it's a "hold" to see if the card exists/is good and that the charge will "fall off" in a day or two.

I agree with the PP. I expect that, in order to circumvent the new ADR rules, some people are coming up with dishonest ways of holding a reservation, like fake or expired CC#. Le Cellier is just testing the integrity of your card.

I booked ADR with my debit card and learned of the charge after the fraud dept. called asking why there were so many little charges on it. They were removed pretty quickly.
