With our new flight schedule, I was able to change our arrival day ADRs. I have a dinner reservation at T-Rex now. I was not able to make it on Disney's website, I had to call T-Rex direct.
Does anyone have experience with that? I don't have a confirmation number (it's our last name). Should I call back the week before to make sure we are all set? I would hate to get there and then have no record of our reservation!
Hi JenPett. I just did the very same thing today. I made all of my dining reservations this morning at the 190 day mark & T-Rex had nothing available for the date that I wanted so I called them. I was able to make a reservation over the phone & also don't have a confirmation number, just my last name. I don't know if this helps, but at least you know that you are not alone.

Hmmm...I've often called RFC (sister to TRex) directly to make a reservation, and I've been given a confirmation. However, I've never had to give them anything but my name when I showed up at my reservation time, so maybe they just stopped doing the numbers? The most recent time I had a res w/ a confirmation # was Nov 2011. I wouldn't worry as long as they have your name.
I was worried about this too on our trip in December. We were a party of 8 people, and I knew it would really be trouble if we showed up and didn't have a reservation, so I called a week before our trip to confirm. They looked it up and found me, and when we got to Orlando (we also ate there on arrival day), we got seated with no problem. So, don't worry!! But if you're a Nervous Nellie like me, then just call shortly before your trip to re-confirm.

T-Rex only has a certain amount of reservations able to be booked on the Disney site since it's not a Disney operated restaraunt. That's why when you call you can ususally get in no problem. And the last name is all I've ever gotten as confirmation.
