Our 180 day mark is coming up soon and I'm trying to put together our ADR list and times. What do you think of my choices for our FIRST trip to WDW?
Cape May Clambake ~ Dinner
Crystal Palace ~ Breakfast

Tusker House ~ Breakfast
T-Rex Cafe' ~ Dinner
Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre ~ Lunch
Garden Grill ~ Dinner
Kona Cafe' ~ Breakfast
Ohana ~ Dinner
We are trying to keep afternoons open for touring but chose Sci-Fi lunch so we didn't have to rush to get to the Fantasmic show. May also try Via Napoli for lunch but will try for a walk-up ... if not there are many other options in WS. Also what time would be good for a lunch reservation? Would like to get a few hours in before worrying about getting to an ADR
Looks good! We always try for lunch in the 11:00 hour, eating a light breakfast in our room (ordering through Garden Grocer). Once you hit noon or after, the crowds will be heavier and the waits longer. On an EMH morning, that will give you 3 hours of touring time (or more, if you go for 11:30 or so).
Your choices look like they'll give you a wide variety of experiences!
We also look for a lunch ADR around 11:30 UNLESS (1) we have a favorite CS breakfast place planned for that day (like @ Sunshine Seasons while waiting for Soarin' FPs to ripen) or (2) we plan a leisurely morning after staying out late the night before. Then I try for something between 1:00 and 2:00.

Looks yummy! I am especially fond of Ohana and Cape May Clambake Dinner!
Our lunch ADR's have varied in time from 11:30 until about 1. We ususally do 1-2 lunch ADR's every trip. I haven't had any issues with any of these times regarding touring in the morning and then making it to the ADR. Except for the one at 1 ... we were all hungry and hot by then!
Looks good! Just wanted to tell you - we did a walk up lunch at Via Napoli on a very crowded MLK weekend this year, so it's possible! We just walked over there at 11 when the WS opened and went to the desk. The restaurant doesn't actually start seating till 11:30, so the hostess took down our names and told us to return at 11:30. We did and were seated immediately. Good luck! Via Napoli is delicious!
