What were this years free dinning dates?

Can someone tell me what the time frame is for this years Free Dinning? I am trying to help Son with next years trip and trying to make him understand if he waits till free dinning it would be a hugh savings for him. I know some times they change the dates from year to year. I think last year it was in Aug. he usually goes in June.

Just remember that the Free Dining offers are not guaranteed at any given time of the year but they have been reliable at certain times of the year for the past couple of years.

This year, so far, a Free Dining package discount has been offered for stays between January 8-March 31 and August 25-Sept 29

In 2011, "Free Dining" was offered from January 1-March 3, May 27-June 2, August 19-Sept 29 and October 1-Dec 15

In 2009 and 2010, there was no Free Dining offered in the spring but there was from early August through early October and then again from early October through mid-December.

....and the "free" dining plan is a money-saver for many people but not everybody, depending on your eating habits and park-visit style, and whether you have to give up room discounts in order to get the plan. Just a thought...

Thanks everyone for the info. I will have to watch for any good deals for him. Doubt if free dinning will be one of them since he likes to take the kids as soon as school is out in June. But maybe a good room discount will come up. He will need 2 rooms for his group.
